1. Material Storage & Preparation
We maintain climate-controlled storage for Toray T300 prepreg and dry fiber inventories, ensuring optimal material condition before production begins.
2. Precision Cutting
Computer-controlled cutting systems ensure accurate ply shapes and dimensions, minimizing material waste and ensuring consistent quality across production runs.
3. Multiple Molding Processes
Different applications demand different manufacturing approaches:
- Roll Wrapping: Our primary process for standard round tubes. Prepreg sheets are precisely rolled around mandrels and cured in industrial ovens. Delivers excellent concentricity and surface finish.
- Compression Molding: Used for square, rectangular, and complex profile tubes. Heated molds under controlled pressure produce dense, void-free components.
- Filament Winding: Computer-controlled winding for high-performance tubes requiring precise fiber orientation. Ideal for pressure vessels and high-modulus applications.
- Pultrusion: Continuous process for consistent-profile tubes in high-volume production runs.
4. Extensive Mold & Tooling Library
We maintain over 100 standard molds and mandrels covering diameters from 6mm to 120mm in round, square, rectangular, and specialty profiles. For unique requirements, our in-house tooling shop can fabricate custom molds in days, not weeks.
5. CNC Machining & Finishing
After curing, our CNC machining center handles: precision end cutting, drilling and slotting, threading (internal and external), surface sanding and polishing, and custom painting or coating application.
6. Quality Control
Every production batch undergoes: dimensional inspection (caliper, micrometer, CMM), mechanical testing (tensile, flexural, compression), ultrasonic inspection for internal defects, and visual inspection per AQL standards. Certificates of Analysis provided upon request.
